How Much THC Can CBD Products Have in My State?

The legal THC limit across all 50 states for hemp-derived CBD products is 0.3%. Regardless of what state you are in, this amount of THC can not be surpassed if you want to sell legal CBD products. Marijuana-derived CBD is a different story– these products will have significant THC levels and will get you high. However, marijuana-derived CBD is only legally available for purchase from brick-and-mortar dispensaries in states with recreational, medical, and limited access laws. All of Hemp Depot’s products are derived from hemp and contain less than 0.3% THC. We do not carry marijuana-derived CBD, so all of our products are legal in all 50 states.

Third-Party Lab Testing

THC content is crucial since it defines legality for your CBD products. Make sure that the wholesale CBD, white-label CBD, or bulk CBD you purchase always has available COAs proving the THC content is at 0.3% or less.  You can take it a step further by having your finished CBD products third-party, independently tested. This really helps build that level of trust and authority with your customers. All of Hemp Depot’s products are third-party tested, and you can view our COAs here.
