Watching Washington, D.C. consider hemp’s potential, as we ensure hemp’s future

It sometimes seems like things in Washington D.C. move at a glacial pace.

But when it comes to Washington’s take on hemp, that political ice jam may be thawing just a little bit.

The country celebrated Hemp History Week in early June. The U.S. Senate marked the occasion by unanimously approvingnon-binding legislation that recognized “the growing economic potential of industrial hemp,” along with its “historical relevance.”

And several days later, Congressional leaders announced some real progress in their efforts to add language that normalizes hemp as an agricultural commodity into the Senate Farm Bill.

“Hemp has proven itself as a job-creating growth industry with far-reaching economic potential,”said Oregon Senator Ron Wyden. “It’s just common sense that farmers in Oregon and across our country should be allowed to cultivate this cash crop.”

From our vantage point here in Colorado, we’re proud that our efforts have been years ahead of the political curve. We’re the nation’s leading distributor of domestic, hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD).We also provide the highest-quality, pharmaceutical grade CBD hemp oil, hemp seeds, hemp clones and hemp flower; all grown and processed in the United States.

Over the years our customer base has grown steadily, as more people and companies become consumers our constantly-scrutinized, highly-potent, contaminant-free and top quality products.

And we’re not rest on our laurels, either – as we seek out ways to improve our products and bring in more innovations that continue to help the legal CBD market grow, develop and thrive.
